Alice G. Waldert is a poet, fiction, and creative nonfiction writer. Her work has appeared in Tiny Seed Literary Journal, The Voice of Eve, and Poet's Choice anthology. She is currently working on her memoir, Surviving the Survivors, a story about second generational trauma, growing up with German immigrant foster and biological parents who were all deeply affected by Nazi Germany. Her short story “Dream Connections,” was published in the anthology, Tales from the Dream Zone, and a second short story, “Catacomb,” was published in The Bangalore Review. She holds a B.A in Political Science, an M.A. in Canadian Studies, and worked for the United Nations for twenty years. She now teaches English literature at Westchester Community College and has an MFA from Manhattanville College.
